Service

Design
Initial Consultation: I will meet with you to discuss your requirements and view your existing garden. I will not charge for this informal consultation within the Dorset area.

Survey: Once you are happy to engage me, I will carry out a site survey involving taking measurements and photographs of the garden and making a general assessment of the site.

Concept Plan: With the survey completed and drawn up, I will create an outline plan to scale according to your brief. The plan will comprise the main features of the design. The ideas can be worked through and amendments made.

Final Layout: Once you are happy with the Concept Plan, a more detailed layout plan can be drawn up which may include construction specifications for use by a contractor.

Planting Plan: If required, I will research and select suitable and available plants that associate well with each other and provide colour, texture and form throughout the seasons. I will develop a detailed planting plan for you showing the Latin name, ultimate size and position of each plant. A plant list will also be provided to facilitate the purchase of the specified plants.

Development
Garden development: I will meet with you in your garden to discuss and advise on the future planning and development of your garden. I will follow up with a detailed written report covering areas discussed.

Border Design: A comprehensive plant design service for individual borders within an existing garden. The border can be anything from an herbaceous or herb border to a vegetable plot. I will provide you with a planting plan and plant list and can advise on maintenance. I can also source and supply the plants for you.
